But for 2021, that just didn’t seem like enough. We’ve all joked about how rough 2020 was, but for those most impacted by social justice issues and political and economic changes, it was catastrophic.
After last year, everyone needed a break. We all needed to pick ourselves up. We all needed to do our best to make 2021 great. We all needed the right attitude to, well … “Give 2021 a Shot.”
That’s where the idea for our newest campaign began. The team here at Social Imprints decided to make a difference by doing what we do best: creating cool promotional products that also serve a purpose and raise money for charities we care about. This new, limited edition series of social justice products will be sold on our custom web store and fulfilled at our in-house Social Imprints warehouse.
We are kicking off our “Give 2021 A Shot” campaign with four product offerings that we know you and your organization’s teams will love. We will add new products every month to the newly launched web store, celebrating social justice milestones such as Women’s History Month, Pride, and Earth Day. The campaign was a good start, but we wanted to take our social impact even further. So, we’re happy to announce that the proceeds of all merchandise from this store will go to two outstanding charities: Feeding America and the Bail Project.
Feeding America is a United States–based nonprofit organization with a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks. They feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies.
The Bail Project™, National Revolving Bail Fund, is a critical tool to prevent incarceration and combat racial and economic disparities in the bail system. On any given night in America, nearly half a million people are sitting in jail before trial simply because they can’t afford bail. The money bail crisis hits every corner of the U.S., from the largest cities to the smallest towns.
